Its dd1's x-mas party tonight, dh is working so i have to take dd2 with me, i'm useless when i'm on my own with 2 ASD dd's, if i had my way we would stay at home but dd1 wants to go and dd2 is shouting 'PARTY PARTY'. Lets hope i can manage an hour of chasing dd2 around and shouting 'come here' every 2 minutes .

I also have to put up with the stares from other parents.

Wish me luck

All went well, they both behaved, dd2 wanted to join in the games and did not hold her ears once (this is a first), so all was fine...................until we got home , dd1 wanted to stay up and i said no (nasty mummy) so she starts answering back and tells me i am the worst mummy in the world, the nastiest mummy ever and i am useless at everything a part from for buying her magazines and sweets . She's now in bed reading a story.

Dd2 won't go to bed and is falling asleep on the floor, but hay ho at least she managed an hour of noise without holding her ears, it was all worth it even if i am the worst mummy. .
