Hi there~
Ds has had phases of blinking, stammering, humming especially during meals, throat clearing and repeating his sentences twice or whispering the sentence a second time under his breath.

Just wondered if these may be tics or something else as I noticed them in another thread on here.

He seems fine in other areas although he does talk over people/interrupt a little.

Any experience anyone or advice ?

Thanks a lot.

Dd1 does the blinking, repeating and talking over people, she has mild AS.

Thankyou.
I imagine if there are no social or communication difficulties they must be tics.

How old is your DS? I think tics are fairly common in many toddlers.

My DS has many of those tics, he also has social communication delays and no imaginary play though. He has mild ASD.

Hi there, my ds does all of those and is being assesed for Asperger's. He also has a whole host of other symptoms though, so not sure what to advise really. Maybe just wait a bit and see if they clear up. Tics are very common in young children and very often clear up as they get older.
