dd2 doesn't "need" pocket money from Grandma

Grandma sent some money to dd1 and ds (10 and 9) but no mention of dd2 (7),who loves shopping and handing over money.

She sees all the dc's every 6 weeks or so, so I can't use that as an excuse for her.

She often misses dd2 out like this - it assume that it's her generation (she is 80). My other grandma (94) is amazed that dd2 isn't in an institution!

How do I handle this?

I've had this sort of thing for years from my mum and one or two other relatives. Some go out of their way to be "fair" and others just ignore his existence! If I say "don't bother" etc then that's fine but when someone just dismisses him then it really upsets me. I agree with bbm probably, divide it between the 3, make sure the other 2 know why and let her know casually. You won't change her but its one thing from strangers but another from close family, grrrrr.

Thanks for your replies. I really don't want to turn it into a bigger issue than it needs to be.

Well, she was surprised that dd2 would even want to spend money, so we have divided it between all three of them, and will wait to see what happens next time.
