Ds 5.5 has an ASD assessment today in school. I have waited over a year and a half for this referral appointment and she will be able to give a dx.

This morning he has woken up with a temperature and not feeling well, i have given him Calpol and taken him to school.

Please tell me you would have done the same, im feeling awful

Hey Claw, happy for you

Thank you BriocheDoree, it was such a relief that she confirmed what i thought, as the school were trying to convince me that ds didnt have any problems. On the other hand, it was also quite sad, to have these problems confirmed. I would have loved to be wrong.

It really does go against the grain and is an uncomfortable feeling trying to persuade someone that your child has something wrong with them. I kept getting the urge to tell them all his good points!
