....learning German!!!!

There I was listening to ds2 (2.4yrs) counting his jumps as he bounced on the trampoline when another little voice started to join in - in German! It was only last month that the SALT had told me that although ds1 would still stay on the SALT list for social skills help he no longer needed any input wrt language as he had made so much progress since starting school in September.

I'm pretty sure that ds1's teacher has been too busy with the usual Reception class work to be teaching foreign languages so I'm not sure where the German has come from tbh - unless it was one of the TAs?

Meanwhile ds2 is slowly turning into ds1 and is now reading numbers and a couple of words. This household seems to be getting stranger by the day.

Blimey!

LOL MrsF! Definitely no counting in my sleep. I did GCSE German years ago when I was at school but that's about it.

It was just so unexpected. Poor ds2 almost got showered by a mouthful of coffee.
