Hi my son went for blood test to see if anything showed up of why he has global development delay . One of the blood test came back not normal , the very long chain fatty acid , the test was carried out again but came back normal this time , has this happened to anyone else child ? Its a rare syndrome and worries me that the level could have just been down that day as it can be life threatening, thanks
