why would some one come on her to advertise their web site.
pay for it or go to net mums, it is BORING

lou031205 · 14/10/2009 21:49

But your forum is mainly C&P lifts from other sites!

PerryPlatypus · 14/10/2009 23:18

I clicked on the link and was immediately put off by the line about it being the only forum on the internet for parents and carers of children with disabilities. It's so obviously not true and just makes potential members wonder what else on the site is going to be a lie.

You're also not going to attract many members by spamming, especially when you've already had posts deleted for it. It comes across as arrogance - not something I would be looking for in a support forum.

parentsopf I hope you're clea that I am not MN staff, and I have been reporting you wanting deletions. I've been here 8 yeras, through 2 diagnoses ofasd and now a possible third of whatever it may be (ADD or Dyspraxia, most likely)

The community founded in that time is strong and I am proud of it. All credit to MN and peolpe like 2shoes who keep everything together.

In answer to my original post, so you are a parent setting up your own website??

My original post was a genuine question seeking to understand a little bit more about who you are.
Any sites with info are helpful, but when posting about my dc I am always a little cautious, as far as possible i try to protect them!

Because of your many links to info pages etc(albeit offering help) from your own website & then not answering my original Q, i was left wondering if you were legit??
Sorry if my suspicious nature has prompted debate, maybe the softly softly approach or a general intro thread in the sn section may of seen a warmer reception.
