After school clubs and trampolining

Hi

Someone posted a while back about after school activities.

My 6 year old DS hates swimming, anything organised or structured with people who are 'shouty' and anything which requires too much obvious coordination.

The last 3 weeks we have been going to a trampoline club at the local leisure centre and he LOVES it .

It is in their sportshall and I can stay and watch and he waits patiently for his turn and just giggles his head off while he does his jumping.

I thoroughly recommend it.

Isn't it weird how finding an afterschool club sort of makes you feel you're doing something a 'normal' mum and son would do. I nearly cried as he did a new jump perfectly for the first time today - all full of smiles.

He has hypermobility and proprioceptive problems which is linked isn't it??

Yes it is linked. Trampoling and swinging are really good
