Hugs/prayers/support for SleepyJess...

Dear all

I have just got an email from SleepyJess's sister, telling me that SJ's ds2 is in hospital. I don't know the details, but it seems he had a fit on Monday and also has/had a collapsed lung and suspected pneumonia. I don't know any more than that, except that they are hoping he might be allowed to go home on Friday. SJ and her dh are staying at the hospital with him at the moment.

Sadly I am at the other end of the country from her, so can't pop in and see how she's doing (much as I'd like to), so I thought I'd start a thread on here for her to see when she gets home, so that she knows people have been thinking about her. She is always saying how much support she gets from you lovely people on the SN board, so I thought this was the right place to start it.

So... SJ... thinking of you, your dh and ds2 at the moment. Hope he's home and back charming the pants off everyone soon!

SleepyJess - I know how scary seizures can be. I'm so glad you are all home now - what an awful experience. What a little star your DD was - at only 6 too! Sending hugs - get some rest.

Sj I have just got back from holiday and seen this. Poor ds and poor you, what a nightmare. Glad that he is on the mend. I have read the other thread and think your daughter sounds like a little star.

SJ - only just back online since last Wednesday, so missed this altogether. So that your gorgeous ds and all the SJ family had to go through this horrible time but very that he is home and doing well.
BTW, saw some of your questions and worries on your sister's thread - dd was on Phenotonin/Phenobarbin (sp?) in NICU following seizures after birth and although it took a while to wean her off, she was fine (seizure wise) afterwards and has remained seizure free ever since. HTH
