Ok, I didnt put this in SN because is it not strictly and SN issue. However those over on the main board and pendants corner are perplexed and suggest that you might be more able to help. I need to get the letter sent today and need some advice. I will link but will repost whole thing if needed.

when we did my dd's caf and it was a woman from the local education department who did it. There was a part of the CAF that stated that you were happy for all of the information to be shared with well.. everyone.. social services, playgroups, docs etc. I was asked to read through the list and sign if I agreed, which I did. So I think you need to check if you did in fact agree for the info to be shared first of all, do you have a copy of the CAf you can check?

Yes i do. but what concerns me is that one of the people sent a letter and wasnt at the meeting because not appropriate. Plus i didnt want the CAF and was pushed into by my GP who did. Will grab file now.

Ok see said statement. Q: does this apply to medical stuff not stated on the caf. How is head injury side effects related to behaviour and sleep issue when memory is the concern.

I think i want the CAF stopped!

I think you've got good advice,and its a vey clear letter about what's happened, but do tell them exactly what you want out of it, eg they must record that all letters should be addressed to you as the mother, at xxx address, and also that you are not happy for all information (specify which if you can) be shared with all parties.

also tell them if you want a response.

I wouldn't get it stopped yet, give it a chance first ..... I've found it all but impossible to get all the professionals together for a holistic view, and would jump at the chance I think. It might be worth the trouble for the benefit your DC might get out of it?

If there was a benefit, at the moment it feels more like group hand washing.

There is no listed specialist pead at either hospital, they all listed as community peads. At whilst one of the above was listed in original document as to recieve information the review document clearly states that they are no longer involved in child's care (I assumed that this was taken that they didnt need the information and not to send ) Am reconstructing based on this advice and that info and sending tomo. Just could face doing it today. Gp appointment tomo so heres hoping for progress.

thanks lauree - no real progress but GP is pushing to get the melatonin. He reminded me it would be and admin mistake rather then maliscous. So now calm enough to right letter. Am doing if i can get ds to sleep at a reasonable time.

would suggest you CC the letter to the relevant Caldicott guardian - person in charge of Data Protection etc issues at the relevant NHS trust.
