I dont post on here a huge amount, but some of you know we sort of got a dx of ASD, from CDC although not formal because we were all dealing with it as we should. So recommendatiosn were social skills training, visual timetables and socail stories to help T deal with any changes at school. Well I went to er open day today to meet new teacher for next year and low and behold, there for her to take home is a social story about moving into year two with photos of her teachers too They only recieved the report 3 weeks ago and i only met with the SENCO last week

Also money advice unit are coming out in 2 weeks to help with loads of paper work.

Super. Nice to hear a school that responds so quickly

We have a social story for transition too - DS is using it as a bedtime story ATM and loves looking at it. It worked a treat for us last year.
