Tamiflu and swine flu vax - anyone read any research?

It looks likely that DS2 will be offered Tamiflu if he contracts swine flu and the vax when it arrives because of his acute asthma. We have avoided all vax since MMR because of his autistic regression.

Has anyone read anything about side effects -or the likely effects on an already compromised immune system? DS2 still has many allergies and altho his bowels are a lot better, it doesn't take much to set them off again.

His asthma was frighteningly bad last winter, so I don't want to take any risks. But on the other hand, I don't want to pump him full of unnecessary drugs either.

dh & I were wondering similar the other day.

thankfully dd1 does not have asthma issues, that must be a real worry.

will watch with interest, as all other issues are the same here (antibs/vax/bowels etc)
