I just wanted to post a few links to places where we have bought some great stuff in the past:
www.communityplaythings.com - I got a table, chair and pushcart for dd from here. The stuff is painfully expensive but quality is fabulous. The table and chair are great because we need it for activites and it was impossible to find a chair with good support that's small enough for dd (who is a bit of a peanut). The pushcart is very stable and good for learning to walk.
www.winslow-cat.com do a lot of professional therapy stuff, Makaton resources and they also sell a tape with popular nursery rhymes that is extra-slow for children with speech delay for £5.95.
Any other web sites you folks can recommend?

There is a site that helps raise funds for a variety of charities...

www.go-help.com

Online shopping at a number of companies who donate proceeds to a variety of charities.

Whsmith, cd company ( we have used - brilliant) etc.

Just a little off at a tangent.

just found this place: Magic Planet - they do a free 176 page catalogue and have, amongst all the other usual stuff, all sorts of outdoor toys for children with SN, like special swing seats etc. Nice pictures, too.
