Since dd2 started ms nursery her speech has come along so much. In the first week she was there we had a few words out of her (mum, please, biscuit), after the 2nd week she started singing along to the tv and now she is putting 2-3 words together. A few days ago she said 'more cake please' and signed more and please to Dh . Most of the time she would only talk at home but this week she has asked for raisins at nursery using speech and signing and she said 'more bubbles' whilst at a friends house.

I'm so proud of her as a few months ago she was non-verbal.

Lets hope she continues to progress.

well done!

"more+desired item" was DS2's party piece for a long time springboard for combining into sentences.

If only the professionals would devote five minutes to dwelling on our children's achievements it would really energise us wouldn't it?
