They can allocate you a free legal adviser who will keep in regular contact with you.
I cannot rate them highly enough

oh, what can they help with? were currently awaiting a tribunal date for bens dla, and also battling with social services for them to even assess us! could they help with that?

Not sure what services Mencap offer but the Citizan's Advice Bureau helped me when we had to go to the tribunal for DS2 - told me what to prepare, etc.

We have a lovely lady from Mencap advising us at the moment too-she phones me about x3 a month to see how things are going-she's our mediator for our statement tribunal we are going to in Jan.....
