And to think they said he wouldn't make it to a week

We're not having any kind of party - I haven't even bought him a card - but tomorrow will be a therapy free, cuddle-and-play-fest, just for me and DP, when we'll try not to think about last year and instead, wonder what on earth he will do to surprise everyone during the coming year!

Gabe says thanks for all his birthday wishes. He has definitely enjoyed his big day. He has just had his (tiny) piece if birthday cake (ignored forgot about his lactose intolerance ) and he is off to bed soon as he is very tired after a busy day (cuddling, shopping, eating and generally being spoilt rotten - it all takes its toll).
I suspect we are in for a difficult night as he hasn't slept much today, but who cares!
Will be uploading a photo of the exhausted one shortly.

Real little boy now (even with classic steroid chubbiness - remember that from my little cousin who had bad asthma as a child). Glad he had a good day. Bless him!
