Are there any gadgets that help keep a baby's hearing aids in?

I hope this is the right place to post this question.

A good friend has a six month old baby who needs hearing aids in both ears. She is just getting old enough to pull them out and does so continuously. Today my friend was bemoaning the lack of ideas she had for getting the aids to stay put and I though "mumsnet might know".

Does anyone have any tips?

No experience, but am B.O.R.E.D. with the cricket on the telly.

wig tape is what they are usually provided with...

but the trick is to just repetitively keep putting them back in - bubs will eventually get bored. Then you have a spell when all is well for a while until they become a stroppy 2/3 year old and figure that if you take them out whilst mummy or daddy are nagging you/telling you off/suggesting you do something you don't fancy then you have the upper hand...

here has a helpline-may have some idea where to buy ear huggies or clips in the UK. We used Huggies but they werent great-didnt know about the clips 6 yrs ago!!!

Friend of mine used the sweatbands. The hearing aid sits partly in it so she can't get a grip on the actual aid and her dd got on better that way.

connevans.co.uk sell those clips, toupee tape etc, so worth a look. NDCS is a great site, their parent place is a good forum, but not as busy as this one! She might not find the answer as weegle says, it's a stage they go through but there will be others on parent place who will certainly be in the same boat
