I am oop north. Would depend on where the meet up was.

siblingrivalry · 26/05/2009 20:34

I'm in the north-east, too. I would love to meet up, depending on location.

devientenigma · 26/05/2009 21:38

Are we talking as far north as Newcastle upon Tyne???

Well I live there, but can travel (on public transport) if needed.

siblingrivalry · 26/05/2009 21:44

I live in Durham, but can also travel by public transport.

devientenigma · 26/05/2009 21:57

So are we all going to arrange something for summer?

Sounds like a plan. Do you want to take charge?

devientenigma · 26/05/2009 23:10

Dunno? how about if we all agree on a place or something to do. Which may end up easier said than done depending on our kids needs. Also how long the meet should be. Then take it from there.

I'm up for it if I happen to be in the area at the time (my folks live there), so i'll keep an eye on this thread...

5inthebed · 27/05/2009 09:27

So where then? Is Durham central to everyone?I don't know Durham very well, so wouldn't know where to meet.

devientenigma · 27/05/2009 21:17

I can make it to Durham although just thought Newcastle would have been more accessible. Thoughts everyone.

I'd be up for this too, depending on time and place.

5inthebed · 28/05/2009 21:50

Newcastle is very accessible to me (seeming as I live here). Is Newcastle ok with others?

devientenigma · 28/05/2009 22:08

I wonder if we could book in somewhere like the Alan Shearer centre as a group?

Sorry, just got back to this thread!
Alan Shearer centre sounds like a great idea -my dc love it.

Aside from that, I'm a bit stumpted for ideas, really. Is there a soft play that people would like to go to?
