Makaton sign for 'mend'?

Anyone know it? DS2 understands the sign and word 'broken' but not mend or fix.

If anyone lives in Somerset and knows the Somerset Total Communication sign that would be even better!

we use makaton a lot, and DS5's fave word of the week is broken/fix/stuck.

Fix: pinch thumb and first finger together at tips. both hands. now touch together to kinda make the finger spell 'B' BUT twist at the middle where both sets meet so that each hand in turn falls forward and backwards whilst still touching tips. if that makes sense. Its a moving sign, not a stationary one. HTH

if you find it useful 'stuck' is made with 2 fists, pretend you're trying to get the lid off a jam jar. Its another moving sign.

That's a very clear explanation Misscutandstick - thanks
