Glitterboy's birthday party

Glitteryboy will be 5 on tuesday so we had a party for him today at the 10pin bowling.
He'd never been before as he's not a fan of loud noises/crowds etc and i was in two minds whether to do it or not but he absolutely loved it!

We had 12 kids from his nursery, most in wheelchairs and it was a great day, they gave us 4 lanes so we had plenty of room and the staff went out of their way to help out, even throwing in free ice cream and face painting!

ds couldnt stop smiling all day and he got loads of Lightning McQueen related presents (they know my boy too well!) and £80 which he informed me he is going to spend on cars!

think he might have picked up a wee bug over the weekend, he's got a bit of a temp, was up several times thru the night and is now conked out on the floor, think it was all too much for him!

Glad it went well. DD is 5 a week tomorrow and wants a party . No doubt they'll all come dressed up as princesses!

not sure if you have a pound store near you but happened to pop in one and its full of disney cars items wall pictures, paint sets, pen sets , drawing books my ds had great day in there bless him and saved lots of money

ooh might need to scour the local pound shops, his £80 would go a long way!!

the pictures are lovely ther enot glass framed but still great quality they have mirrored pictures they were bubblaboys fave lightening mc queen with mirrored back ground we got 6 pics 1 paint set , a dvd storage case, pen set, pencil tin and all was new there was other stuff also but i didnt have enough carrying room left lol

by new i meant all was packaged lol

think glitteryboy might just have been trying to scam an extra day off school after his busy weekend!
he'd picked up considerably by lunchtime, temps gone and he's eating etc, if he's ok thru the night he's going back to school tomorrow, birthday or not!

lol bless him could just be a cold bodies have funny ways of fighting it off
