That is fantastic, well done bubbleboy!
To add to it, my 4 year old has progressed to level 4 pecs, and has started to drink from a regular beaker rather than a sippy cup, am so so so proud![grin}

Well done bubbleboy. I find the bath a really good place for doing pretend play. The bath toys or bath brush 'talk' to them and they talk back - you find out loads! Flyingboy still remembers me doing this with the bathbrush on holiday once - that was 10 years ago. Perhaps Bubbleboy could have a plastic phone piece in the car or bath or somewhere and 'phone' daddy to tell him about his day.

yes that sounds like a good idea today he told him we wanted bread and milk lol and then told nanny he done a poo lol

i was shocked as normally you have to prompt him to say things and virtually tell him how to do it and today did it alone teacher first off said is that daddy and then he said that wa sdaddy on phone and i knew it was because teacher had mentioned his name but then the second time he said nanny unprompted and with no mention of her name

when dp got him i gave ds his phone and he then said it was nanny on the boat on the phone [dp mum] nanny = my mum

this again was with no mention of her at all so just showed he had to think about it

i will try what you said and see if i can build on this

I think another basic one is putting something that's not a hat on your head and saying it's a hat.

bubblagirl · 10/05/2009 19:03
