Riv a lot of his stuff manages to bring race or religion into it.... so it's Minority groups faking Asthma, slurs on islam etc... basically he seems to stir things up pretty majorly, and I suppose he is as much a preacher of hate and the rest as any of the others on that list, just that white supremacist / neo nazi / islamic fundamentalist has a more neatly defined label ready and waiting.

I am annoyed they banned him actually.
All they have done is allow him more publicity and to bleat about his freedoms.
I prefer him to be on radio and tv where a) people can call him a twat and throw things at him argue with him and b) help us identify the wankers who agree with him.

I was really really hoping that 5live would get him . Peter Allen or Nicky Campbell would rip him apart.

I still don't want him here; too many people I know who will listen, ignore any counter arguments then pay it back to my boys..... OTOH yes it would be nice to see him ripped to shreds. There are too many people out there I think though that actually would agree with him. That scares me. I know Peachy. I just like knowing who they are. Its like when you see someone and they seem normal and then they tell you that they support the NF - you suddenly know exactly what you are dealing whereas before that you might have..well ...talked to them or offered them a bite of your sandwich.

There are always going to be moronic bigots. I am more worried about the ones who know what to say in public but express these views privately. Once the discussion is in the public they are finally challenged.

swc I've never seen a link between racism /homophobia and tory party mebership; I have fopund Tories more bigoted against certain sectors of society (claimants etc) but I think that's just a small section of aprticualrly vocal tories I know, I don't suppose that's generic; they do often give the others a bad name though I think.
