party will have lots of children in wheelchairs from dd's school. Most have cp.

was going to do musical statues but thought what about kids with involuntary movements - dd has to some degree tho she will not really have much concept of whatever 'game' we play.

There will be lots of nt toddlers age 1 - 2 as well. Other children from dd's school are aged 4 - 6. Some have ld - some don't.

Have a great big hall. Theme is 'Night Garden' which appreciate might be bit young for lots of the children but dd loves it and its her party

DH is doing a lucky dip type thing based with sensory objects as well as 'prizes'. Hopefully am getting some sensory equipment from toy library

Wanted a big game to do together - but preferably not pass the parcel cos tbh find it tedious and there's too many kids coming to engineer them all 'winning' a layer

what about parachute games-there may be somewhere you can borrow/hire one from. everyone stands/sits round the outside and swooshes it up and done, there are various game eg cat and mouse/ones using a ball?

What about fishing for presents? Depends how much arm/hand control they all have I guess...Or one of those elephant things that blows butterflies?

Some might be a bit young but what about musical spots. Rather than chairs you have great big coloured circles of paper that you line up on the floor. When the music stops they all run or wheel for one!

It can become a bit of a free for all with wheels going over toes but can be great fun with a little adult supervision.

How about a dancing competion, but of course every one gets a prize, tap on their shoulder & they sit down & the dancer giving it the best moves/best effort is the last one on the dance floor & wins the top prize!!

yay thanks all. These are fab. I can borrow a parachute from the playgroup I take ds to I'm sure - and the spots I can make from paper and stick on floor.. and the fishing is where we were trying to go with the lucky dip. So ta again

BriocheDoree - What's the elephant thing with butterfiles?
