I think you have to be very careful when using phrases like "I was sorting myself out" if posting on a thread like this one.

Oh, a stationery thread I've missed, and smutty too! I was wondering about that "sorting myself out" thing.... do elaborate!

"Sorting my self out" = Pits and my bits in readiness for a night of lurrrrvvveee....sadly it didnt happen as J was awake most of the night and was in bed with us!!!!

...sorting myself out = trying to make the kitchen look tidy and get the boys school stuff ready....so i'm afraid if i ever use that phrase then it will mean nothing like yours J'sM!!!!
