My son is 16 in September and I am wondering what exactly will change when he becomes 16 (scary thought!!). His school has an FE unit til they are 19 so he will be at home until then. Can anyone recommend any good websites or books/leaflets that can point me in the right direction. Does child benefit stop? Child tax credit? Can he claim income support in his own right? It's a bit of a minefield and I wonder if anyone has investigated it recently and could give me some direction.
