Dd's nursery leader (sn nursery) just rang to say she has set up a meeting tomorrow with dd's ms nursery which she will be going to in April. This is mainly to discus the care i want for dd when they take her out of the nursery on walks around town. I think they are going to go through a risk assesment.

Dd2 has HFA/ASD and i am worried about them taking her out and her running off etc.

Do you think it would be fare to ask for her only to go out if she has a 1:1 with her and a wrist link (or her back pack with a rein) and to be atached to an adult at all times? To be honest i would be happy for her not to go out at all but may be i am being a bit over protective.

Is there anything else i need to ask before she starts?

Insisting on 1:1 is a must imo. I still do this with my nearly 6yo DS with school.

1 to 1 and some sort of restraint if she's a 'runner' is essential, I'd say. Mine spent his every waking moment planning his next daring escape, so I know how it feels...
