Not that surprising in itself but interesting that children with other deveiopmental disorders do not have the same problem - though would be interesting to know what the other developmental disorders were.

thanks for posting that cyber, i'd have missed that otherwise! . 'tis intresting ,but not suprising ...do you think the other disorders could have been pdd-nos or gdd?

DS1 used to watch TV (anything, he even liked the news!!!) from around 4wks old... at the time i didnt think anything of it, and thought it was quite cute

He is ADHD, and TV is the only thing that he calms to, even now (16y/o).

meant to say that this study's findings do not surprise me - i personally think its something to do with the flashing of the pixels (maybe they see them change subconsciously, even if they dont consciously notice that?)

i'd like to know more about what they mean by this statement. i wonder what types of experience could be involved?
