I really have had it tbh. Been to gp today and have tonsillitus (5th time in about 4 months) and conjunctivitus as so stressed out. Dd seems to be deterioating rapidly and I can't take another year of ms.
Have spoken to parent partnership and apparently I need to draft a letter as to why I want dd to move and as the school is out of borough and private I need a pretty strong case! I just feel so ill at the moment and not sure I have the strength for the fight but I have to iykwim
All help greatly appreciated x

something about how the m/s school environment is impairing your DD from gaining access to the curriculum due to her SN? say if sensory issues etc are preventing her from learning

also would any of the professionals dealing with her write to back up your request? sorry things are so stressful for you and DD at the moment.

You need to beable to prove why the school is not meeting your dds educational needs. Be careful that they are not all social needs or they will try and fob you off.

Maybe the new school can give you some pointers?

Blossomhill, sorry to hear that you are unwell and have all this to cope with too.

I think you do need to get the EP etc on side and get them to see your daughter and assess her.Do bear in mind that as an EP works for the LEA they don't tend to stick their necks out in support. If you have her review coming up, try to get her statement ammended and then this allows you to challenge the whole thing including school placement. If this is soon it may be better to do this before you write to the LEA who may just refuse to do anything.

An independent EP report would be very useful in showing how your daughter's needs are not met currently.
