dolls holiday camp(yes I am serious) be able to do me a favour.
I need someone to send dd a postcard from her doll(who will be at pretend holiday camp whilst dd is at lourdes)
dd wants to take doll with her but it will be too big and I think all the "routine" with it will be a bit much for the carer. so i am telling her sally is going to camp.

if your DD is into the beatles at all it could be a liverpool holiday camp? (though I do get the feeling given your and your DS's taste in music that she won't be LOL)

I live near the sea and could send a beachy one (could possibly get one from an actual holiday camp - not a dolls one though!) if that's any good? Am happy to do it if you let me know details.

That is really sweet 2shoes. I live nowhere "campy" otherwise would oblige. I do have a friend who lives near a Haven resort though, so could ask her to send me a few postcards up?

How about Derbyshire/Peak district? Everyone was so lovely about sending DS Christmas cards would love to do a similar favour!

dolly is welcome to have a mini-break in my area of London. She could hang out in Hoxton--see a few edgy art shows, get a directional haircut, that kind of thing...

dh & I (and the girls) are off again this year - we met there, many years ago, so will be bizarre to go back with the dds, but lovely

surely you can sign sally out of school for a week? tis a very sweet thing to do either way. We have elaborate (but that that elaborate!) personality for t-shirt (DS's comfort item since he was newborn is my old cure tshirt he doesnt move an inch without it - it even signed my birthday card!)
