floortime. anybody use it?

just wondering about your thoughts on floortime. i've been reading a bit about it lately and was thinking about getting Greenspans recent book on the subject.

does anyone have experience of floortime?

However, they've just finished the basic course for this year. You might want to email them (go to 'contact' on the website) and find out when the next one is.

There are free lectures available as well.

Also have a look at the floortime respository - it's run by a parent but has lots of useful links and some video.

We had the PLAY project DVD's.

I should update my website actually as there's an excellent Floortime consultant in Wales as well (who travels).

I've mentioned this before, but do you think there would be any mileage in trying to organise a UK Floortime conference? We could try to get sponsorship, maybe get a US practitioner over, or use one of the (rare as hen's teeth) UK therapists? If enough people were interested it would work, I'm sure.

I'd definitely be interested. dd1 really responds to the floortime type stuff, and think dh would love to know more too (would really suit him)
