Special Sitters is a new Surrey-based baby sitting service set up for families whose children require a little extra care. The service has been set up by Laura Blair, a special needs teacher and mother of 2 young boys. Laura realised that there is no local babysitting service provision for families of children with special needs and has recruited a number of reliable and experienced babysitters.

We will aim to match you and your family to the best possible sitter. To do this we will ask you to provide us with as much information as possible about your child.

in the interests of fairness, (and no i'm not anything to do with them) surrey mums will like to know about cool2care too, which is a not for profit organisation putting trained sn carers in touch with families with sn children for sitting/ respite time. (fee arranged between carer and family, not organisation)

probably google cool2care - they have a service running from guildford and i think one in birmingham...

anyone interested in training opportunities (not that you lot need it lol) can also contact them... think the contact is called lorraine... but i might be wrong.

and i reiterate - they are nothing to do with me lol - i went to a presentation they did last year as i run a local charity lol.
