DS2 (6 mild cp & ASD) has had a high temp for a couple of days, just been giving regular doses of calprofen to keep it down & keeping him cool.
Very lethargic & slept a fair bit.
I have been trying to find out/ask whats wrong.. does your throat hurt, ears etc. He's not helping, doesn't seem to know if anything specific is wrong!
The only thing dh got our of him was that his arms hurt, but I think that may be because he had been lying awkwardly on the sofa.

He has also been regularly coming up in a heat rash over the last few weeks & has been having doses of piriton to stop the itching.
He just seems to regularly get overheated.

I'm not sure if the 2 things are related & its sooo frustrated when they don't have the language skills to tell you whats wrong.

we've just had as a family roseola infantum which starts off with a high temperature for anything up to 3 days and then is followed by a rash. For DD it was a high temp for an afternoon and then had rash on face for about 3 days. DS and I had temp overnight for a couple of nights, but fine during the day and then have had light rash everywhere for the past 2 days.

It looks like german measles but you don't get as ill with it. Starts with normal cold and is a virus. Hope this is all you have and it should be over within a few days.

roseola

Have you used pictures rather than words? Sometimes it helps us to be able to point to a picture that matches which bit hurts, but they'd have to be really clear as we're not good at seeing face expressions on pictures. Really hope he's feeling better soon - it's such a worry when they can't find the words/explanation for what's wrong.

Had this last week with DD. Three day fever plus complete meltdown any time I tried to find out what the matter was. Was off school most of last week with me completely unable to tell them what the problem was! Only way I know she's coming down with something is that she's a complete PITA for a couple of days beforehand!! I wondered about roseola but alas no rash!
Hope your DCs all get better soon

Still just running a high temp & keeping it down with paracetamol.
No other symptoms other than the usual for ds, when he is unwell/upset etc he stops talking eating etc!!
He is very sleepy, poor thing!
