I was at the Odeon Muswell Hill yesterday and noticed a little promo thingy about free carer tickets (mentioned on two threads here last week and here last year.

Basically it sounds like a free ticket for a person accompanying someone in receipt of DLA / registered blind / holder or disabled person's rail card at participating cinemas here at the CEA Carer's Card Web site.

The scheme launched 1st Jan '05. You must be a card holder to obtain the free ticket. Address / phone here

Sorry if this is old news, but thought I'd let you know.

If you're a big cinema fan, don't forget Orange Wednesdays . Two for one.

We often take my aspergers brother, my and DH get in for free (who says he doesn't need two support workers?!) and we all get to see a film we wanted to see anyway for a fiver! Shame it costs us about £30 in popcorn, sweets and icecream!

Same applies at bowling.
