On high rate DLA and carers allowance, do I have to let them know if DD starts playgroup five hours a week?

It will be two two and a half hours sessions. She is 2.6 so I am paying for it and could't afford to if they cut either of those so I'm hoping it won't affect them. Does anyone know?

no, for carers you just need to care for the child at least 30hrs a week i think it is. and dla is unaffected as long as they still live at home
