Within a week, ds1's one to one funding at preschool was cut from 12 hours to nothing, and we were told our very pregnant (and brilliant) SALT may not be replaced while she is on maternity leave.

I panicked and phoned everyone I could think of to try and get funding reinstated. Was told I had no chance, our county council had totally run out of funds. Today a letter arrived out of the blue, and funding is fully restored!! I don't know how or why, but I'm so relieved, it's made a real difference to him. Just shows that pestering can work, we shouldn't have to though.. still have to fight the battle on SALT replacement but more optimistic on that one.
