The lady in front of us in the queue at Marks and Spencers bought DS1 a little chocolate egg because he waited so well while she was engaged in a complicated transaction !! I even managed to get him to say Thank You (isn't echolalia useful sometimes). And I was worried that he was taking too keen an interest in her bread. I think she had noticed that he was desperate to get at the doughnuts we were buying.
