Whats the link to the Sunerland uni thing?

I am thinking of getting Dan tested, as I've noticed that some foods do send him a bit meltdownish.
For those who have had the Sunderland uni urins test done, did you manage to get urine when your dc's were in nappies?

Sunderland ARU

I had dd1 tested when still in nappies - you can either use a potty (if you think your dc will comply) or you can use the Newcastle Urine collection pack - basically liek a sanitary pad to stick in the nappy and soak up the urine.

I think sunerland sent me one, as I specified dd was stillin nappies, otherwise your gp/children's ward might be able to help?

Thanks very much. I doubt ds2 will comply with potty, so looks like its the old pad in the nappy for him

If you don't get one from Sunderland Uni or your gp's surgery you can buy a pack of them here.

I ended up using quite a few packs as DS either wouldn't wee (and you have to use a new one after 30 mins) or pooed on them.

And also, when you're trying to use the syringe to retreive the urine from them, press it down really really hard on the pad! I managed to scrape together just over the required amount this way.

Oh I'm sure ds2 will pee enough on the pad. He pisses like a racehorse
