hiya yes i have last year.

make sure you have a bottle of water with you as i found my mouth very dry after all the talking i had to do!!!

highlight your main points so they are easily readable.

Ask for a break if you need one, they are understanding.

Is there anyone going with you for moral support, and do you know who your LA is taking with them?

Thanks, yes, I've done a crib sheet so I don't forget anything...will take some water thanks.

LA are bringing case officer and her line manager.

For us its, me, DH, DD2s nurse plus another witness who is there to help us with the legal side of things.

How did you find it? Worthwhile? I've been told by all our case is strong especially now DD has been referred to the CDT anyway...

just wanted to say good luck! we have been ok so far, but now have dd2's proposed statement which is not worth the paper it is printed on - so we may be having to head towards appeal etc. hope it goes in your favour.

It sounds good,i mean you have a nurse and a legal expert with you and the LA have an LA woman and her boss, no Ed Psych or Headteacher or anything?

At ours it was our Psych against the LA Ed Psych, the LA psych repeatedly attacked our psychs qualifications (he was actually more qualified than she was) and it all got very heated with me and DH sat in the middle thinking wot the heck is going on.

unfortunately we lost due to some very very underhanded and dirty tricks by our LA and the Ed Psych, i mean like the ed psych doing an emergency assessment of DD on the friday before the tribunal which was on monday,we got a copy of her assessment when we picked her up,we couldnt phone or write to say we disagreed with what had happened, ICAN did a report we knew nothing about, that was taken on the day and the woman from the LA was frantically rumaging through the nursery files on DD looking for pictures showing how she could play on a climbing frame and be sociable with other children,we refused permission for them to be sent (as one was taken of her filling her nappy and another crying sat next to father xmas) but they used them anyway, the SENDIST panel said no you are not using them and we ended up writing to the chief exec to complain who blamed it on sendist, sorry ive just realised im waffling
