Handwriting Without Tears - confused as to which book to buy

Our OT has recommended this programme for DS1 but when I looked on Amazon I couldn't work out which book/set I should buy. He's 7.5, in Yr 3 and still printing though he can manage a very laborious cursive script- his teacher doesn't demand he joins up though, as she'd rather he get his ideas down.

Can anyone who's used this help please?

We got dd1's through OT - it is proving BRILLIANT at helping her learn to write. (sounds like she is way behind your ds, so I expect on a different part of it)

I'm glad it's working - that's reassuring as it's quite expensive. We don't have an NHS OT atm, so no chance of getting it on loan.

Oh we have this too, it's fabulous, our Ot also recommends it and last year Ds got all the expensive bits as birthday presents. He uses them as toys atm while I gradually work in lots of different bits. The CD is really really good and I recommend it, we have the early stuff as DS is 3 but I think they do a second CD also.
