Hi!! I just wante to pop in and say a quick thank you as you have all been so great and helpful for me, DH & DS. And also to say sorry because I keep meaning to catch up on all of your threads and not just post when I need something but time has been so very short recently. Also I am going to try to not post on MN elsewhere other than SN for a while as to be honest I need to sort out my family and I havent got as much time to sit around in active convos.

But still I am not going away and I just wanted to say thank you properly as I wasnt sure I really had yet, and you have all been lifesavers when things have been so hard.

I have 4 books on ASD I have bought off amazon, 2 have arrived. I have got DS sunglasses so he can cope with bright light (any ideas how to get him to actually put the bloody things on??? - he DID ask for them!) and bought a weighted blanket though it hasnt arrived yet. He is on rice milk with a lot of success on that front too and one of the MANY things I have to do (instead of MN) is fill out this looooooong Sunderland form so I can get his test done.

SO thats it for tonight just wanted to say thanks very much and sorry for being a self centred poster for a while.

you most certainly have. If it werent for the support I got on MN initially especially that I was not a shit parent that there was actually something wrong I think things would have got much worse. It gave me the courage to put my foot down with all the health professionals and take charge. And it has also educated me enormously.
