I tookmy ds to lunch with a friend today, to somewhere i normally take my kids we was eating dinner and my ds was making it of mess as he struggles to use cultery goes with fingers more and sometimes spits out as has problems chewing and generally squealing away
and on table near byaeaa ladycalled for the waiter over and said in that sotto voice that my ds ws disturbing her lunch and was offputing with his manners, waiter got the manger who came over talked with the customer pointed out no one else was complaing and suggsted that if she was not happy that she eat elsewhere in future, and that he would rather she not upset his customers.
Then came over made fuss of my ds .Not the first time we eaten there.and found there way willing to accomadte us even moving furniture so we can get ds buggy to table nd allowing him to use his own plate to eat from

Just wantedlet you know there is places that will welcome all ,we hear lot of bad stories just wanted give good one

I met someone recently who was telling me about a horrible reception his son had in a pub restaurant. The landlord thought that 'people like that shouldn't be allowed out', and made a big stink about food on floor etc. All v. upsetting.

So this parent decided it was payback time...

They phoned the pub a couple of days later and booked a function room and three course meal for 40. Then didn't turn up. Ha!

good on the staff at that place! not entirely SN related - but over a year ago when DS wasn't reliably toilet trained, he weed all over the floor at the Italian Club, Liverpool, and the staff were absolutely, cleaned it up discreetly and without a hint of icked out ness. We left a rather whopping tip!
