I AM SOOO HAPPY! I NEED TO TELL SOMEONE

I am openning a bottle of champagne to celebrate! I AM SO HAPPY.
After 10 months of chocolate buttons, star charts, getting angry, ignoring, feeling desperate, washing, washing, washing and more washing, my DS has FINALLY had ONE WHOLE WEEK of ZERO toilet accidents. And yes, that is pees and poos, in the house and when out and about.

OH MY GOODNESS... Now I know, there IS light at the end of the tunnel.

Yesterday he was watching MR. Tumble (his fave prog), half way through the prog he came to look for me asking for the toilet. That was my icing on the cake! Two weeks ago he would have just gone in his pants.

Today we went to the park, it was cold, he asked for the toilet and waited for me to find one.

The best thing is that he is pulling his trousers up and down and taking himself to the toilet.

I AM SOOOO HAPPY. SORRY I NEEDED TO TELL SOMEONE.

TinySocks · 05/02/2009 19:45

Thanks ladies!
When I post here is it usually to complain, moan and ask for help. I must sound like a right old bore!
It feels nice to post about something positive for a change.

Fantastic - you must be elated! Now DS1 is out of plaster we're going to try training mark 3 - and you've definitely given me hope!

Btw - I still have the weeing doll that Cyberseraphim kindly gave me - we agreed at the time that I would pass it on to someone else if DS2 ignored it. He does - so would anyone else find it useful?

alfiemama · 05/02/2009 19:48
