you know everyone says think of your worst day/night and use that, well to be honest they are all pretty bad so i just took an average day/night to see what they would say and it came back today with high rate for both care and mobility.....indefinitely!

our last award was only for 2 years so really pleased in a sad sort of way IYKWIM?

Excellent result! Are you getting it backdated?

Know exactly what you mean. J is on the same rate, but had to go to Tribunal for it and really emphasise all the facts in the paperwork, but the fact that the Tribunal panel had already read the paperwork and accepted it before I even got in the Tribunal made me happy (cos it's deserved) but also sad that people had to read his file and go 'oh my goodness - how terrible - he must get high rate'

It's like having to accept again that this isn't going away or temporary...so I know what you mean. Congratulations doesn't seem quite right, but I hope you can do something great with the money.

its great you have been awarded so much help. well done for sticking with it.

can i ask, if its not too much imposition, what makes it 'indefinately', what was the wording? (if you can remember - sorry its been so long since). sorry for being nosey.

its regarded as awarded indefinately when they dont put a date when the award will end, unless of course circumstances change.
