We went when we lived in Sussex - it's lovely, really atmospheric. Have a great time.

Oooh, I love the Bluebell Railway. My in-laws live just up the road and we go whenever we are in Sussex. Sometimes we just get platform tickets and watch the engines (how sad are we!!) and I will never forget DS's face in August...he was only 13mos and SO excited! Are you going on the Christmas special with the meal and everything? I wanted to take DD but decided it was a bit expensive. How lovely that you get the chance to go!

nothing that fancy..
It is oraganised by an x nurse at dd's school. she arranges it all and we get to use the wheelchair carrige. 12 familys go and santa comes on board.

Oh how absolutely lovely! I hope you all enjoy it--I heart steam-trains.

pipintroll · 15/12/2008 22:58

Fantastic! I hope you will all have a wonderful time.

I hope you all have a nice time 2Shoes. We have a similar thing in Kent, The Kent and Sussex Railway, which I was due to take one of my families to but they had to put it on hold so we are still looking forward to going.

I don't think thats too sad Brioche, I have often gone to watch the trains on the platform with clients, but not as fun as watching steam trains, just your average every day 465s and 375s
