I am supposed to be going to a works reunion tomorow night. all was fine when it seemed like lots of people were going. now it looks like me and 3 others.
one of these people is very judgy and already started.
on fb she asked me if I worked.
no I said I am a SAHM and carer.
so I then got all the oh I would love to be at home all day,
so I said back, yes but you have to have the severly disabled child.
so she says, I know but I would love a day off!!

now in a large group I could walk away. but 4 people!!!
shall I make my excuses.
there will be another one(with more people) next tear.
and I have the local meet up to look forward to.

If you don't want to go, don't go. You don't need to spend an evening justifying your life to someone who is completely clueless.
