Did anyone see 'Mock The Week' last night (24.11.08 10.30pm DAVE TV)?

I usually enjoy this programme. Im usually very laid back about comedians lines of humour... They call it 'satirical', but last night TBPH, i was VERY offended.

Usually its the proverbial 'water' and 'duck' routine. But last night the 'S*' word was used several times and then they started on autism, rolling about laughing at what we understand to be quite serious and often heart-breaking actions by those we love. .

Did anyone else see it, am I over-reacting (under very stressful situation ATM) or were they REALLY that offensive???? I was amazed it was allowed to go out.

Unfortunately i was half asleep and got offended so turned it off and went to sleep instead of getting all het up about it.

It went something along the lines of:
"... yeh they could read, and it wouldnt be like 'see john run' it would be like 'and the b44 train to edinburgh will depart at 9.16'... still with that look on their face they wouldnt even notice anyway, you do [whatever the action they were talking about] and they'd still be like 'but the Delta 493 would be faster, and arrive 6mins earlier than the..." and went on to say:

"... yeh, because of all the spazzers,... and yeh you could get like spaz.com where they could all..." then i turned off.

really sorry to have upset anyone and probably everyone - now you can see why i was so offended. Perhaps it was a good job that i was so tired, and turned it off.

page and number to complain about the programme last night. I just have, and he was very apologetic and said he would pass on the comments. Talk slow tho, cos they have to write down complaints word for word.

Guess no-one did then.

I stopped watching it and made a complaint, which was never responded to, when someone was taking the mickey out of incest on the show.
