Multi-sensory room in Fareham only 50p per session

Hi, I just wanted to say that if any one has a child who would benefit from using a multi-sensory room, then Oak Meadow Children's Centre at Ranvilles Lane, Fareham, Hampshire, has one and it is only 50p to use it!

My health visitor came out to see me, and didn't even mention it when I asked her what was available for DD, but then I went down to the building where the HV is based for a midwife appointment, and saw a newsletter pinned to the notice board, and this was on there.

our local surestart has one, and its free - you have to book a four weekly session in it, and its usually times to suit them, but very worth it if its available.

the ones up here in Liverpool are free, you have to book in advance. I am a bit about parents of kids with SN being charged. And most of the HV's I've encountered have been just as clueless regarding useful groups/activities, so sympathies.

I think the slight difference is that this one can be used by families with any child, not just children with SN.
