Gabe starts in nursery 2 weeks before I go back 2 work next year. I have earmarked that fortnight to scrub the kitchen cupboards inside and out, move the sofas and hoover behind them and clean all the shelves in my glass cabinets. My house will shine! For the first time ever .
But then, nursery is only down the road........
You'll still have us!

And pinkelly (still haven't found her). She will truly empathise.

I used to work with a girl who was catholic and who went every year as a helper. She loved it so much that after her 4th year decided to quit her job and retrain as an OT.
I'm sure DD will have a LOVELY time!

you're braver than me. I'm still fretting about dd being at school in case they miss a seizure.
Am over-anxious mother!

My DS went with this organisation about 3 years ago - had a fantastic time. More animated after this trip than any other he has been on (has ASD BTW). Your DD will love it.

I also knew someone well a few years ago who went every year with her mother, both as helpers. She still works with a friend's son who has ASD. My DS could have gone but I just felt toooo uncomfortable as we are very much NOT religious and it could mean more to the family of another child who could have the place. Plus I was sure DS would be a nightmare!

dd is not religious but that wasn't a reason for her being asked.
