Anybody see the news last night about cuts in speech therapy?

News last night talked about the woeful waiting lists for speech therapy for our kids. This was in Northern Ireland, did you get this piece in your area??

Waiting times here are 1 month to 2 years. Average about 6 months wait. Basically they said kids are entitled to the right to be able to speak and are being effectively muted by no funding.

I didn't see the news so missed this. Ds1 had to wait a year for actual SALT - 6mths for an assessment and another 6 months to get actual SALT. We were luckier with ds2. He was referred at his CDC assessment and had his first session about 3 weeks later.
