she's been screaming her head off for 2 farking days, not eating or sleeping cos she has a cold and feels crap and cant breathe. No food is staying down cos its affectingher swallow and she is gagging and choking so then voms up everything we managed to get in.
I am very very tired.

what a bummer. sorry to hear she feels so poorly

misscutandstick · 23/10/2008 11:54

OOOh im so sorry to hear this, did you say that you had the date for the g-tube (hope i got that right )?

I blame education... why? because over summer we all brew our own infections and then come september immunity drops (lack of sunshine and temperature/eating well) and then we all get together in education (schools and universities included) and share and everyone gets a dose. It usually clears up by november, and then come january we all start again because of the christmas break!

Not that it helps at all, but i am thinking of you and sending vibes for DD.

Oh poor lass . I hope she feels better soon.

feelingbitbetter · 23/10/2008 12:22

No , I'd have to fight you for her.
YOU want your burden. We all want her to be better very soon. Poor love.
Must be the time of year, everyone I speak to has LO with varying degrees of under-the-weatherness. DS has a cough, but he is his usual happy self and guzzling his milk, so I have no worries. Hope your DD manages to keep something down

My MIL doesn't know how we "deal with a child like that" DS2 has asd.

She's an old bag at times and a bully. Just needed to have a 5 sec rant about that and now I can't stop - oh dear...

DS2 also has a cousin, one month older than him =- so my DS2 is constantly compared - and I get comments like "oh, there's not such a difference between them - isn't he (my DS2) really catching up".

Who cares? I think all my kids are fantastic. She's just a dipso at times.

needmorecoffee · 23/10/2008 15:04

MIL doesn't believe ds1 has ASD. Its a'll in the mind' and 'bad parenting' of coourse
